Acupuncture is one of four Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) treatments covered under the Affordable Care Act in California.
Many health plans using American Specialty Health (ASH) as their administrator include acupuncture benefits. If your plan covers acupuncture, we can bill your insurance as an out-of-network provider or provide a super-bill for reimbursement. Coverage depends on your insurance provider’s policies, including verification of your condition and whether your deductible must be met before benefits apply.
